William J. Peterson is an associate attorney at Todd, Barron, Thomason, Hudman & Bebout, P.C.  He grew up in Waxahachie, Texas, completed his Bachelor of Arts in History at Texas Tech University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law. He served in the Army Reserves and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Before joining TBTHB, William gained experience in pretrial civil litigation and estate planning at Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas and assisted with the research and drafting of legal opinions at the Texas Second Court of Appeals. He endeavors to use his expertise to help his clients manage and protect their personal and business property and to provide them with security and peace of mind regarding any legal issues they may face.

Outside of his legal practice, William maintains an interest in legal history, enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and serving his church and other local organizations.
